On November 11, 2022, Converge ICT company announced that they will double the existing speeds of their residential plans for FREE.
Converge ICT is now one of the top contenders in the internet industry aside from PLDT and GLOBE.
They will be rolling out the double the speed promo asap and existing users will be able to see much better speeds. But do take note that Converge always says that their internet services have 30% minimum speed at 80% service reliability.
The FiberX 1500 plan will be up from 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps now.
FiberX 2000 plan that has 200 Mbps of speed last time will increase to 400 Mbps, and FiberX 2500 will also increase from 300 Mbps to 600 Mbps.
Their high-end plans like FiberX 3500 will also increase from 400 Mbps to 800 Mbps and their top residential plan will increase from 500 Mbps to 1gbps speed.
Converge mentioned that they registered a 30 percent increase in the first nine months of 2022. That is a huge increase from last year’s PHP 18.8 billion to PHP 24.5 billion revenue.
I’ve been using Converge ICT as well, and most of my experience with them is good. There are some hiccups but nothing major like what I’ve experienced in other Telcos.
